Hand-Painted Sci-Fi Shield (WIP)

I thought I'd post my current little foray into the world of hand-painted textures. With the growing trend of mobile gaming and stylised games I'd decided to grow my skill-set. I enjoyed this process immensely; very basic, low poly modelling is a nice change of pace and the texturing process is very creative. This prop in particular was very inspired by Wildstar.
Unfortunately I have very little time to create games arts these day (much to my dismay), as such I have given an update in-case this doesn't get finished.

Texture is a single 2048x2048 diffuse, and the mesh is just over 1k tris. To save on texture space, I've duplicated one side.
